This week was a crazy one.. gardening, painting, quilting, repeat! The quilt is starting to look fabulous (I might be biased) and all I have left to do is stitch, trim it up and put the border around it! I'm so excited to see the end product. Nadia, Kathy and I have been talking about heading up to the Kick Ass Country Store in Plumes soon! This awesome quilting store was opened in 1996 in order to service quilters who were not close to big city quilting stores with a lot of variety. So apparently it's just the most awesome place if you're a quilter and I can't wait to get some more material and make another quilt!! The hand stitching has been a learning curve but I'm loving it. My fingers are beginning to get quite sore but I'm sure it's all worth it in the end ;)
That was about it for this week, busy busy! I'm glad it's Friday.. Now I can look forward to the long weekend exploring Medora, North Dakota. A Western musical, the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and dude ranches galore are on the schedule! I'll come back "yee-hawing" in my cowboy hat :). Have a good weekend y'all!!
